I think we can all agree it has been a tough year. Rather than focusing on all the struggles and hardships of 2020, I would like to take some time to challenge each of you to find the positives. I have seen so many businesses be innovative and quick thinking as they adapt to the changing environment. These ideas and adjustments are worth celebrating! I have pulled together some areas where I have seen some of your businesses excel; take a moment, recognize yourself for those wins.
Revenue: Meeting and exceeding your sales goals.
Expense Management: Identifying and reducing overhead expenses.
E-commerce: Standing up a website and/or offering online sales for the first time.
Delegating: Knowing when to ask someone else for help when you do not have the time or resources to do it yourself.
Optimism: Finding ways to continue to stay positive, even as curve balls were coming your way.
Personally, I am thankful for so many things my business has brought me. Starting a business can be an overwhelming, isolating, and stressful endeavor. This past year has shown me that I am exactly where I want to be and brings me so much joy and excitement for the years to come. I am personally thankful for each of the following.
Flexibility to spend more time with my family when circumstances changed.
Seeing my clients achieve their goals.
Reaching our one-year anniversary as a business!
I would love to hear from each of you what you are most proud of this year. It does not have to be financially based to be recognized. If something made your days more positive, easier, or impactful, allow yourself to see and recognize that win!
